This project required the upgrade to fire safety and building code compliance within a residential unit complex in Surry Hills.

The upgrades involved improving fire safety across 25 sole-occupancy units and two commercial tenancies. This included passive fire protection to service and structural penetrations, enhancing fire compartment wall integrity by sealing gaps with fire-rated materials, and replacing or installing compliant fire-rated doors with smoke seals. In addition, new BCA-compliant handrails were installed on all stairways.
