This design and construct project involves internal refurbishment works to the Medical Centre at RAAF Williamtown to sustain operational capability.

The scope includes hazardous materials remediation and comprehensive upgrades to building services, including electrical works such as new main switchboards, distribution boards, submains, body and cardiac protected area upgrades, and new lighting with subcircuit cabling and controls.

Mechanical upgrades include installation of a chilled water automatic pressurisation and expansion tank, dosing pots, refrigerant detectors and safety alarm systems, replacement of dampers, and new supply air, exhaust, and toilet exhaust fans, along with duct-mounted heating water coils and electric duct heaters.

Hydraulic works involve new gas-fired hot water units and upgraded sanitary fixtures and fittings within ablutions.

The scope also includes replacement of ceilings, new paint finishes, and installation of new carpet and vinyl floor finishes, as well as the design and construction of refurbished ablution areas featuring detailed design development, new wall and floor tiling, toilet partitions, and sanitary fixtures, along with installation of new wayfinding signage.

Included within this design and construct project are comprehensive security upgrades to an additional building. Works include hazardous materials remediation, physical and electronic security improvements, upgrades to the electrical, ICT, mechanical, and fire services. Building improvements such as window replacements, new doors and frames, external and internal balustrades and stairs, new ceilings and partitions, fresh paint, updated floor finishes, and new joinery. refurbishment of ablution areas with new tiling, partitions, lockers, and fixtures, as well as installation of new furniture, fittings, and equipment.
